MARCUS TEIXEIRA

Marcus Teixeira is a visiting professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil and affiliated Researcher at Northern Arizona University (NAU), USA. His scientific interest includes genome diversity, ecology and evolution of primary fungal pathogens nested with the Ajjelomycetaceae family (Ascomycota, Onygenales). He is also interested in the systematics and taxonomy of Paracoccidioides, Coccidioides and Histoplasma by using next-generation sequencing data to investigate the phylogenomic composition, genomic concordance and population diversity of these pathogenic genera.
